The Digital Construction Cluster recognized Wenture with the Innovation Project of the Year award. The title was awarded to Wenture’s developed product information system (PIM system), which the company team sees as a cornerstone of their digitalization strategy.
PIM ensures up-to-date data across all channels
PIM (Product Information Management) is a product information management system that centralizes all essential product data in one place—dimensions, quantities, certifications, drawings, prices, visuals, and much more. This solution enables manufacturers to efficiently manage product information, update it regularly, and easily share it with partners.
One of the product team’s favorite features is the real-time updating of digital product cards, which can be shared directly with clients or saved as traditional PDF files. This eliminates the issue of forgetting to update information in one place, leaving everyone struggling to figure out where to find the correct data. PIM ensures that clients always have the most up-to-date information—no matter which channel is used to share it.
The development team’s priorities – simplicity and affordability.
Wenture CEO Kaur Tull explains that PIM can be used in all manufacturing companies: “Many businesses manage product information through some business software, but a common complaint is that these solutions are complicated, labor-intensive, and require dedicated staff. That’s why we aimed to create a system that is simple and affordable.”
Wenture’s CTO Kaspar Triebstok also points out that PIM is particularly useful in managing products made up of components. “The more complex the product and the more components it has, the greater value PIM offers.”
According to Triebstok, their PIM system is built on a SaaS model, making its implementation very simple: “The user can set up the system themselves without the need for external consultants. Additionally, it synchronizes well with other company software, making product information management seamless and efficient.” Given the demand for such a PIM system, Wenture plans to expand its solution to international markets, with a focus on the Nordics, Germany, and the UK.
In addition to Wenture, Embach Ehitus OÜ, which developed artificial intelligence solutions to enhance after-sales service and product assembly, and Merko Ehitus Eesti AS, which used iPad LiDAR technology in model design, were also nominated for the innovation project title. We wish them success in the digitalization of the construction industry!
